A series of large oil paintings featuring internal spaces – both the physical rooms portrayed and the psychological realm of the viewer. Inspired by luminescent light and sharp shadows, I reimagine local haunts with art deco lines and colors. I explore elements of space and time with an intention to draw the viewer in with nostalgic shapes and textures, giving them permission to pause, to ponder, to consider the spaces they find themselves in.
